Inspiration
Inspired by pool ball game, my initial idea is to create a variant of pool ball game, where objects would change their colours and shapes.

Paper Prototype

Having the Cue Ball to be controllable, the player can adjust the aiming angle and push the Cue Ball by pressing the space bar.
The objects (pink cubes and blue cones) will change their colours once got hit by the cue ball.
Start in UE5

Added the spheres, pink cubes, and blue conese.
Successes
Successfully compiled the blueprints for the inputs and the game mode.

Created the input controls for adjusting Cue Ball’s angle and push impulse.

Created a game mode.
Challenges

Not sure why these simple blueprints and elements could cause Unreal to crash several times.
Issues needed to be fixed: the Cue Ball that I set as Pawn is not able to check the ‘Simulate Physics’, which I think is the problem that makes it unable to be controlled by the keys to move and push. I also tried to change it from Pawn to Character while it could be moved, but that is not the way I would like it to perform.
