“Misty Confetti” is a foggy escape room experience that utilizes air particles to visually distinguish and divide the game space into unique thematic zones.
Each zone, shrouded in a mist of different colors and densities with scents visualization, represents a distinct realm with its own set of challenges, puzzles, or storylines.

The player navigates through the mist and explores the room with different senses and interactions to eventually find the path to the next zone. The air particles not only serve as a physical simulation medium (wind/light/soundwave/water/toxicity) but also represent the interaction between the player and the environment. For example, the Tyndall effect or bubbles underwater could become a trail of clues or hints to lead the player.

Inspiration: from “Blur” to foggy
Script: The script I used for the Abstract Object and Interaction involved changing colors based on a hit. In the final project, it could be applied to change the color based on other physical interactions, including the player’s simulated inhale and exhale.
Level Design: The air particles are like confetti scattered in the room.
