Inspirations
Our inspirations come from the Netflix series Stranger Things where the Upside Down is a different version / parallel universe of the real world and the game Little Nightmares where a TV screen is a portal that transfers the character.



Proposal
Our final project proposal is to create a parallel / upside down world of the studio space. The game starts with the main character entering the studio space in the “real” world. There are portals in the space where the character can pass through and enter the parallel world. Once in the parallel world, the gravity of the character and portals will be inversed in an upside-down manner. The portal which the character passed through will be fragmented. The scene in the parallel world will be set up exactly like the “real” world but in a different, wasted, and horrific atmosphere.
Our previous scripts include fragmentation of an object and trigger events that activate when an object or character passes through. These can be used to create the fragmentation of the portals and trigger gravity / scene change.
