
I modeled my bedroom in SketchUp, and used Datesmith to to link the skp file to UE5.

I first ran it in first person perspective, and it felt like the renderers we usually use, such as Enscape.

Then I opened the level in third person view and now it feels more like a game, but I haven’t gotten the distance between the camera and the character right yet, so when I want the camera to enter the room, the character has already run out.
I’m looking forward to learning more about how characters and models interact in UE5, how to set up cameras, as well as lighting, adding particles, etc.
