This final video displays the progress on our level with a focus on aesthetics and effects. We wanted to present the game as this fantasy world thats undergoing attack where the player wakes up at the outpost and has to try and save their world. They have to begin their journey by reaching the partially destroyed temple and entering the portal while also evading enemies along the way. Since midterm, we’ve focused on adding in different particle effects, sound effects, atmospheric elements, and enemy ai. The enemy ai now has better roaming and tracking, while also now having different walking and running animations. It also has an attack swinging animation.

The rest of our focus was on filling out the garden areas and adding in more architectural elements like the gazebos in the garden and the large temple that holds the “end portal”.
